Born out of necessity, no substitute for ‘1st hand experience’The company ‘Crofts Estate Agents Ltd’ was established in November 2005, opening its’ 1st showroom in the business high street location at 62 St Peters Avenue in Cleethorpes in mid March 2006.
Whilst we are a relatively new company the Managing Director created a business plan for the estate agency over 5 years ago. It would have been possible to open an agency back in 2001, however it was identified that we would be able to offer our clients a superior level of service if the management of the company acquired 1st hand knowledge of the property industry in general in as many disciplines as possible.There are a huge range of courses and examinations available to property professionals, but we feel there is no substitute for hands on experience.
With this fact in mind a conscious decision was made to gain the experience personally, so over the period leading up to Crofts 1st sales showroom opening we did exactly that. We now have 1st hand knowledge in depth of the following property disciplines:
- Portfolio Adjustment and Reorganisation
- Property Management and Lettings
- Property Investment
- Establishing limited companies for investment clients to take best advantage of tax benefits
- Acquisition of property for rental purposes
- Renovation of older properties for re-sale at substantial profits within tight budgets
- Conversion of single dwellings into smaller units for re-sale
- Design, planning and building regulations approval for new build property
- Property project management
We will gladly offer advice to anyone, whether you are an existing client of ours or indeed another agent, at Crofts we are aiming to achieve more than just a sales platform for our own portfolio of sale stock.
Only when were confident that we could pass on our experience to our clients in confidence did we feel it was the right time to open our estate agency.
The ultimate aim of the company is to provide a ‘One Stop Property Shop.’
At the end of the day you pay our fees, we want to make sure we ‘earn them,’ it is a stressful enough time buying and selling a home it is our job to alleviate this as much as we can and help things to go as smoothly as possible.
